What is the meaning of BOSH in safety?

Basic Occupational Safety and Health is the fundamental and essential concept that encompasses the different laws, policies, and procedures that are in place to promote a safe and healthy work environment for employees.

This concept includes understanding the potential risks and hazards that come with different jobs and taking necessary precautions to mitigate them. It also involves promoting safety awareness among workers through training and education.

Basic Occupational Safety and Health is crucial to any business or industry as it helps to prevent accidents and injuries that could be costly both financially and to the well-being of workers.

The implementation of solid Basic Occupational Safety and Health practices will enhance the productivity of workers and reduce worker absenteeism. It is, therefore, the responsibility of employers to ensure the safety and health of their employees in the workplace and provide a conducive working environment.
