What is AHA HeartSaver® First Aide, CPR and AED Training?
AHA HeartSaver® First Aid Training with CPR and AED Trainings (Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation and Automated External Defibrillator) is a classroom, video-based, instructor-led course that teaches participants critical skills needed to respond to and manage a first aid, choking or sudden cardiac arrest emergency in the first few minutes until Emergency Medical Services (EMS) arrives.

What is AED in First Aid?
How long for the students of AHA HeartSaver® First Aid Training with CPR and AED course to complete the subject?
The AHA HeartSaver® First Aid Training, CPR and AED course takes about 8 hours to complete. This also includes the skills examination.
What are the inclusions First Aid Training with CPR, and AED course?
Students will get an electronic copy of the Provider Manual, an American Heart Association certification cards and certificate of completion. A personal protective equipment will also be provided in the training.
What is the methodology of teaching for the HeartSaver® First Aid course?
- Students will learn the techniques while watching the course.
- HSS Philippines also utilizes PowerPoint presentations.
What is the instructor-to-student ration?
The course is conducted by a subject-matter expert in first aid, CPR and use of AED. There is one instructor to 10 students.

Students are assessed via skills testing.
